nitrox nec100
As engines are used the rapid constant movement of the piston up and down the cylinder wall creates wear. Eventually the wear becomes a space between the piston rings and cylinder wall. Engine power is lost through this space. Oil leaking up through this space is burnt. By sealing this space with a ceramic coating Ceramic7 reduces power loss and reduces oil consumption.
Ceramic 7 was developed by the aerospace industry to protect and lenghthen the life of all moving parts by coating them with a tough hard smooth surface. This has the effect of dramatically reducing wear and friction between surfaces, improving life and effiency. Ceramic 7 consists of minute solid ceramic particles held in suspension in a fluid which when added to oil dissolves, freeing the particles to circulate around all those parts of the engine in contact with oil. Once the engine is warm the ceramic particles leave the oil and bond to the inner surfaces of the engine, coating them in a protective film. The ceramic particles are harder than the metal used in the manufacture of the engine and its parts. It is also smoother. Both these properties combine to give longer engine life resulting from less engine wear. Oil stays more effective and less abrasive because it contains fewer particles which have eroded from an untreated engine.
Ceramic7 is suitable for all 4-stroke petrol, diesal, turbo, naturally aspirated, marine, motorcycle or high performance race engines. Because of its long lasting protective properties Nitrox Ceramic7 is also suitable for applying to vehicles like classic cars which are laid up for winter. Because ceramic are hard wearing, one application of Ceramic7 lasts for 30,000 miles, and since the engine oil is only used to carry the ceramic7 to all the internal surfaces, once the ceramic7 leaves the oil and bonds to the internal surfaces, the engine oil can be changed as frequently as is wished without affecting the protection of ceramic7.
